We are one of the recipients of the 2008-2009 Fall and Spring artistic residencies at the Watermill Center.



We won the 2008 Stranger Genius Award for Arts Organization.

While at The Watermill, IV had the privilege of meeting Andrzej Wirth, Thomas Martius, and Hans Schumann. All three are German artists who have been instrumental in the development and progress of Implied Violence’s new work. When we returned to Seattle, Mr. Martius was so kind as to introduce us to Mr. Herbert Blau, an icon of American Theater. Ryan and Mandie rode bikes to his home, drank a bottle of red wine, and talked with him about theater. It is a relationship we value very much and hope to continue.

Implied Violence is also working on securing the warehouse in which we presented “Our Summary in Sequence” for art space. Pat Graney Company is currently working out of 801 Aloha, where they will present “House of Mind” in December. [back]
